Last Saturday we had our first cheerleading competition at DOHS (Desert Oasis High School- the school that is on the exact oppisite side of jones as us.. literally...) We... well everone except the smart few went over to Kelsie's houses and curled hair and put ribbons in and yada yada... 20 girls in ONE house... chaos! I was the smart one who got reaady BEFORE I went... sometimes my brilliance amazes me...
Anywho when we got there we got right to work... first up was the all girl 90 seconds of pure weightlighting and someother stuff like caughting falling people and spinnning and twisting and alot of nerves.. we did good but barely had time to breathe before we had to warm up for our show routine which consists of dancing, a cheer and more weightlighting... nerves got to us i think and we dropped a couple stunts but we learned from our mistakes and that's basically what this competition was about. After the "Spirit" portion we sat... and sat around till and performed our last routine... Pom... it was total awesomeness! and then we waited some more for awards.

- We got 3rd place in All-Girl Stunt! :)
- We didn't place in our show routine :/
- We got 1st in POM!!!! yes that's right we are champions! and #1 we can say it and not even lie! :)
- Despite all placements... WE QUALIFIED FOR NATIONALS!
- All in all it was a good day... we learned what we need to do and we are super excited to go to Nationals in Disneyland!
I think you should post a note that that is your tongue and not a fat lip. Just kidding. You look radiant.

nationals is the end of march like march 26-29 or something like that...
