Getting to Kelsie's
Alright so i got to go to korea with my lovely sister Aurelie and her independent twins.... on standby. Now I have never flown standby and let me tell you it is a TOTALLY different experience. Normally you go to the airport check in get your ticket then board.... no no no that is not how it works! you go to the airport, check in and get this stupid little ticket that looks like a boarding pass but isn't instead it says... SEAT REQUEST. and that exactly what it is... you go to the gate and wait... and its not just waiting its pacing back and forth biting your nails staring at the screen that gives you how many seats there are and what number in line you are. doesn't sound that bad.... WRONG!! say your number 51 in line and there are 16 seats left... you just start thinking to yourself "crap crap crap.... what are we going to do!?!?!" basically this is the senario in washington dc. its not good at all when you can't even find a seat and there has been a fight totally cancelled! which means everyone else is trying to get on the following flight which leaves us standed! luckily though because there was a miracle from heaven! and we got on! woah hoo! so we ended up in atlanta and spent the night there. It was a much needed rest because the two perfect angels were turning into little devils... the next day we got up and got ourselves to the airport.. that was another scary standby but we did make it on.... aurelie was the last person the flight to korea. I got stuck in the middle and aurelie ended up in two seats with three people! not good at all.... i had a much better flight then she did needless to say... it's the best movie marathon ever!
This is a picture of Alison looking out the window on the flight from salt lake city to washington d.c.
When we finally got on a flight to Atlanta the sun was setting so we got to see this beautiful sunset!
Me and Alison spent about an hour on the flight from salt lake to washington dc taking pictures :)
