This poem was inspired by my niece and nephew when they were littler and not so much monters. I can just remember looking into their sweet faces and how innocent they looked. They were running around playing and then they saw a statue of the prophet Joesph and in their eyes you could see the great reverence and respect they had. It amazed me to see them so little but still so connected with heaven.
In Their Eyes
As innocent children wonder by
I ponder why
Such precious gifts can be changed
Looking in their eyes heaven can be seen
Sometimes like they can hear the angels sing
Pure and willing they are
To come to Earth oh so far
Tests and trials will they face
But not without God's grace
Someday they will return
and family and Him will embrace
Their proud child.
I didn't know this. Its beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I love the its me Emily.
