Blizzard of the century...

....well that's what everyone was saying. Luckily for me I was totally freaked out by this weather report. Perhaps it was I was supposed to be driving though a canyon in my little bug to Camas, which was for surely going to have a lot more snow. Good thing I have an amazing sister who thinks of great solutions. So I ended up driving up to Salt Lake, praying the whole way up there that I wouldn't encounter this terrible predicted blizzard. I didn't! YAY! It hit later that night. This picture was taken before I left to Wyoming for the weekend the day after the blizzard of the century hit....

Pretty terrible right [add sarcasm here]. Yeah there might have possibly been a totally of a foot on the ground but it was probably less than that. So I went on my merry way to Wyoming with Kels and Colter. It was butt cold there. I tried to minimize the time outside the warm toasty house. No one likes negative degree weather, except Colter but he's crazy. Anywho we had a great week. The following pictures were taken when I got back to Salt Lake 5 days later.

Where'd my car go?!?! It was covered in snow!!! Now that's what you call a blizzard. Silly weathermen got confused. So the unfortunate part of this story is that as seen in the pictures above it was snowing still and I, the inexperienced winter driver, and by inexperienced I really mean I have never driven in snow before in my entire life, got to drive home in it. I hated every second of it. I was so terrified. It took me almost two hours to get home. Luckily I didn't freak out at any point and die. That might be due to genetics or the fact that I was blasting MoTab in my car to calm me down or both. Thankfully my parents are great driving teachers so I'm not a insane driver to begin with, and I was able to watch Colter drive in the snow [don't worry I didn't ever check to see how icy it was outside, which someone tends to do while driving] so I got home safe and sound am that much better at driving in the snow now. :)
