Hola Familia,

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas. It was great talking and seeing everyone. Kelsie and Colter you were missed. But I am glad that everyone is doing great. Christmas here was different. It wasn't really a day to enjoy because we still had work and people to visit and things to do, but it was great. It is a different feeling being a missionary during Christmas because this is our message that Christ lived and lives today to redeem the world, and through the restoration of the gospel this is possible. But here is chile christmas is celebrated the night before. Christmas eve there is a dinner. We went over to the bishops house. This is his first year without his son who is in brasil as a missionary so we were the substitute. Hermana Munoz cried. She misses her son, but was so grateful that we were there with her. Anyway we had turkey. Anyways at 12 the presents are opened. We had to be home at 1130, but don't worry im chilean now and opened my presents at 12 also!!! I like this tradition. Munoz family gave us a picture that is hilarious of all the missionaries singing. It is great. Anyways Christmas day we had a meeting as a zone. Returned to eat lunch and then went and caroled in this huge plaza. It was fun. The rest of the night we visited people and sang to them. But overall it was great.

These past weeks have been slow in terms of the work. All of Santiago is on vacations or went to the coast. But we have to been trying to work. We have found some new people to find and teach and references to contact so this is great. We had a ward new years party. It was super fun, but we could only stay for a little while because we have a normas. And yup, nothing else really super exciting this week. I talked to you all so I don't really have that much more to say. Tonight we are eating at a house of a member but have to be home at 1030. But it should be fun. Anywho love you all.
