Hola familia!!

Happy New Year!!! I hope all had a great time. Dad send me pictures and it looked like a blast. I am especially fond of the pictures of the grandkids the 20 and everyone is different. I like the other pictures too, but I miss my little people. For New Years we had to be in our house at 11 so we ate dinner with a family and were sleeping like rocks when 12 oclock hit. But really I didnt here anything. But we had a bbq too!!! Except chile style which consists of a giant piece of meat on your plate and salads. it like taking all the things in a salad and putting them in seperate plates, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber. They all have the same dressing just no mixed. I always mix mine though. and for dessert fruit. But yeah that was my new year. Not too exciting. The next day we walked the other portion of our area. Ill attach a photo it is completely different and there is nothing. But its pretty. 

Anyways all is well here is Chile, New Year and we are ready to work. People are finally here sort of, there are still people on vacations until march but there are more people, so we can actually teach. No every week we are finding more and more people to teach. This week we passed by a reference and started teaching me. Dad he is basque well his grandparents, but the others basques. The basque that blow things up and get exiled from spain. And man oh man is he stubborn. Why do we have to be so smart and so hard headed!!!! But good news is that there are also very spiritual also, they want to know god. Sometimes that means Catholic, Roman Catholic and there is no other church real in the world, or it means in the case of Isidro that we wants to find out the truth. He told us that we prayed about the catholic church and jehovahs witness and with both received a resounding no. He also prayed about the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. He hasnt received a no or a yes. This is a good sign. We told him to pray some more. It is a little bit like trickery, I know the answer he will recieve, we are just waiting. 

We are still attentively trying to teach all of our inactivos or menos activos. Its hard. Hermana Mercado summed it up perfectly when she said, its like teaching and eternal investigator that isnt progressing but that you cant kill (stop teaching) because they are members. Its terrible. But we are trying trying trying, and inviting inviting inviting. 

Ahh mom!!! I am so proud of you for finishing the Book of Mormon. I would love to hear what you learned this time around. I finished in Spanish Dec 21!!! Woohoo. 3 months and no I am restarting with a new question in my mind. I love love love the book of mormon. We are so blessed to have this book. President King loves the book of mormon so as his missionary children we love the book of mormon too! So everyone who isnt reading it right now. I invite you to read it. Maybe only a column or verse a a day but read it everyday. We counted and it takes 20 seconds to read a verse. Soooo DO IT!!

Yeah nothing else. Explainations of the pictures. The other part of my sector. Farms and trees and really green. The purple bush thing is the really cool plant where the leaves are the flowers and are bright purple. and lastly how many dogs can you find in this photo.
