Hola Family.
How is everybody doing! I hope great. I am doing just fine, offically completing 7 months. Wow I am getting old, and with lots of new missionaries coming with 19 years I with be a grandma soon!! No but in two weeks or so I will have someone to introduce probably. okay on to the news. Dad I am sorry but my heart is closed for another 11 months. God is my Valentine!! HAHA just kidding, kinda but I will be your valentine. Are you going to send me chocolate?? Or share your testimony with someone that will be good enough for me!! President King is my president until july. So we still have time with him. Poor guy, he is pretty stressed out about the millions of missionaries coming. pero bueno. It is still hot here, but at night it drops, I am learning to not complain about dying in the sun. I will include a photo of my plans everyday. No we are working si or si.
This week went great. We are finding more people to teach. And people are finally returning back for vacation. Which means there are more people and we are going to stalk them. Okay not really but maybe just a little. I have a list of all the people that are gone and when they are going to return. So yeah we are stalking them. Funny things that happen this week. a little girl of one the families that is inactive sang a song for us. it went like this ´´í want to go to church... always´´ I started laughing. It was a great song. Maybe they will actually go to church.
This week Hna Grimaldi came to visit, with her new daughter, my friend for byu. It was great. We had a training with president on the doctrine of christ. and other things but ui am running out of time. Oh oscar came to church with a suit now that he offically a member. He is so stinking cute! Okay now on to the experience of the week that I want to share with you.
We have a member that is an angel. She has a store and is always passing referrals and her daughter is always with us in lessons. They are great. Sadly the dad is inactive. I always thought that we was just inactive, lazy didnt want to go to church or one of the other million excuses that I have heard but this is not the case. Somehow we starting talking about polygamy. And he started attacking the church... in a nice... as nice as attack the church can be. It was sad. He needs evidence and without this evidence it is false. He is sealed to his family has the priesthood but has denied the power of god and turned his back on his faith and the power of the convenios that he has made. This isnt the first time that I have heard someone attack the church but a member. It broke my heart. I left his house and started bawling in the middle of the street. How sad that he doesnt want to ask god the person who knows if these things are true or not. It made me think in my own testimony centered in Christ. I know that Christ is the only way for us to return to live with god. Without the restoration this isnt possible. Joseph Smith wasnt perfect, none of us are, but he was a prophet of god. and through his work we are able to participate in the atonement and mercy of Christ. If you dont have a testimony of the book of mormon of jose smith or have a testimony I invite you to pray and ask your father in heaven if these things are true. I testify that they are. There is nothing that I wouldnt do to defend this church, to defend my Jesus. I know he lives, I know the atonement works and that this is His church!!!
